Terms of Service
These Terms govern the use of LogMe ("the Bot") on Discord. By adding the Bot to a server, or by using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By inviting the Bot to a Discord server, or by interacting with any of its commands, you (as a server administrator or as an individual user) agree to these Terms of Service and to the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, remove the Bot from your server and stop using it.
2. Description of the service
LogMe is a Discord application built for a Roblox-affiliated community. It helps administrators run and record events, tracks member attendance and host results, manages promotions through a defined rank structure, and offers optional linking between a member's Discord account and their Roblox account.
Core commands include, among others, /set_config, /startevent, /update, /clearevent, and profile or rank-lookup commands. The exact command list may change over time as the Bot is updated.
3. Eligibility & your account
You must have a valid Discord account and comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines to use the Bot. Server administrators are responsible for who they invite the Bot for, and for configuring it appropriately for their community.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to exploit, abuse, or overload the Bot's commands or infrastructure;
- Use the Bot to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent event or rank records for another member;
- Falsify attendance, host results, or Roblox account links recorded by the Bot;
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or operate a competing service built on the Bot's non-public code or data without authorization.
Server staff may restrict a member's access to specific commands at their discretion, independently of these Terms.
5. Roblox account linking
Where the Bot offers a Roblox verification or linking feature, this is optional and initiated by the user. Linking associates your Discord ID with a Roblox username and/or ID for the purpose of rank and identity verification within the community. Use of Roblox itself remains subject to Roblox's own Terms of Use.
6. Event & rank records
Event participation, host win/loss counts, voice-channel attendance duration, and promotion eligibility are calculated automatically from server activity. These records are used only to support the community's internal rank system and are not a guarantee of any promotion, which remains at staff discretion.
7. Availability & changes to the service
The Bot is provided on a best-effort basis. Features, commands, rank requirements, and configuration options may be added, changed, or removed at any time, with or without notice, to improve or maintain the Bot.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Data loss, downtime, or miscounted records can occur.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot's operator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot, including loss of rank progress, event records, or Roblox account link data.
10. Termination
A server administrator may remove the Bot at any time. Access to the Bot's commands may also be suspended or revoked for a specific user or server that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
11. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to vitchapo or to the administrators of the server where the Bot is installed.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information LogMe collects, why, and how it is stored and used. It applies alongside the Terms of Service above.
1. Overview
LogMe collects only the information needed to operate its event-tracking, rank, and optional Roblox-linking features inside Discord. It does not collect data outside of the servers where it is installed, and it does not read private messages.
2. Information we collect
Depending on which features are used, the Bot may store:
- Discord identifiers — your Discord user ID, and the ID of the server, channels, and roles involved in a command;
- Event records — timestamps of event participation, event numbers, host identity, and win/loss/MVP results;
- Voice activity duration — time spent in the voice channel configured for an event, used to determine attendance;
- Rank & promotion data — accumulated event counts used to determine eligibility for the next rank;
- Roblox link data — if you use the verification feature, your Roblox username and/or ID associated with your Discord ID;
- Server configuration — the voice and text channel IDs an administrator sets for the Bot to use.
The Bot does not collect passwords, payment information, or Discord message content beyond what is needed to process a command.
3. How we use this information
Collected data is used only to run the features described in these documents: tallying event attendance, computing host results, determining rank eligibility, verifying a linked Roblox identity, and applying an administrator's channel configuration. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Bot's community functions.
4. Storage & retention
Data is stored in the hosting environment used to run the Bot and is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the rank and event-tracking features, or until it is reset by an administrator or removed on request. Records for a user can be reset or reduced through administrator commands.
5. Sharing of information
Data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is inherently visible to Discord Inc. as the platform the Bot operates on, and, where the linking feature is used, to Roblox Corporation for the purpose of identity verification. Otherwise, records are only visible within the Discord server where they were generated.
6. Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect stored data against unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and the Bot's operator cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You may ask a server administrator, or contact vitchapo, to access, correct, or delete the event, rank, or Roblox-link records associated with your Discord ID. Removing the Bot from a server does not automatically delete previously recorded data; a deletion request should be made directly.
8. Age requirement
The Bot is intended for use in accordance with Discord's minimum age requirement (13 years old, or higher where local law requires). It is not directed at children below that age, and no data is knowingly collected from them outside of a normal Discord account.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the Bot's features. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
10. Contact
For any question about this Privacy Policy or about data held by the Bot, contact vitchapo.
11. EU users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 applies to the processing described in this policy. The operator identified in the Contact section acts as the data controller.
Legal bases. Data is processed under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the service you request — event tracking, ranks, verification) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the community's legitimate interest in running a fair rank and moderation system, e.g. the blacklist and audit log).
Your GDPR rights. You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can exercise the right to erasure yourself at any time: open the verification page of your server (/verify/<server>) and use the "Delete my data" button — this immediately removes your Roblox link, event records and XP data for that server. For anything else, contact the operator (Section 10). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Retention. Web login sessions are deleted automatically after 14 days. Audit entries and event history are capped and the oldest records are deleted automatically. No data is transferred to third parties beyond Discord Inc. and Roblox Corporation as described in Section 5.
12. Cookies
The web dashboard uses a single, strictly necessary session cookie containing only a random identifier. It is required to keep you signed in and carries no personal data, no tracking, and no advertising identifiers. It is flagged Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and expires after 14 days or when you log out. Because it is strictly necessary for the service you request, it does not require prior consent under the ePrivacy rules; no other cookies are set.
